Roger from ARB is a portrait of Roger Vickery, shown with his wife and his beloved LandCruiser. The work was commissioned by ARB Queensland’s state office as a retirement gift, marking Roger’s long-standing dedication to the business and the role he played in bringing the iconic four-wheel-drive accessories brand from Victoria into Queensland.
The painting reflects not only Roger’s professional contribution, but also the personal values that shaped his life and work. His connection to ARB sits alongside a deep love of the outdoors, family and the culture of getting away in a four-wheel drive. In that sense, the work is both a portrait and a tribute.
For Tervo, the piece is less about formal recognition than it is about character, loyalty and the kind of grounded Australian life that forms around work, family and time spent outdoors. It celebrates Roger’s commitment to a major Australian brand, while also honouring the quieter personal life and passions that gave that commitment its meaning.
